Stripes Galore!

The Trend-STRIPES


Recently i have been paying closer attention to the latest fashion trends on runways, in magazines,celebrities, and on every day people. I try to notice what the deal is fashion wise then incorporate it into my outfits while putting my own style in it. One big trend i have noticed this past year is stripes and a nautical themed to clothing. Yesterday i went shopping and tried to try out this fad that has recently been so popular...and as i was looking through my closet that morning it turns out i already had a lot of blue striped clothes to begin with. Anyway, these are some outfits i came up with. (I really like the yellow striped pants, cause they are vintage!

My Typical Tuesday...

Since spring break started i have been quite bored....so since i didn't have anything to occupy myself with, i started taking all these "arty" photos with my camera. For the 2nd one i was channeling a flower i think. Since i didn't have shoes that went with that outfit, i figured one homer slipper was a natural substitute. I have been saving up money for a shopping binge for a few months and yesterday I let loose and probably hit every store in the city. I needed to update my wardrobe for spring/summer (which is practically 10 months out of the year) because i had all of 2 summer tops.

Hey, just haven't updated in a while, and i wanted to put up some outfits. I don't really have anything particular to talk about, but i felt like i had to post something. Is that sad? Sorta? yeah, i thought it was. Anyway, i have recently been saving up enough money to buy some classic, black and white Vans (product placements!) So far i have saved up about 76 dollars, which for me is a lot since every time i get money i spend it immediately. When and if i buy a pair i will post it up! ;)

"Atlanta has some bipolar weather"

Don't get me wrong, i love the snow when it comes, but i just don't understand...i don't understand one bit. Atlanta is the only place i have lived in with seasons that change so much. You near know what seaso to expect. LAst week it was 60 degrees, ad now...its snowing. But the best thing about it was that the snow was actual snow, not ice like usual, but actually real, true blue snow.As you can image everyone was totally thrilled(including me) schools closed down, grocery stores were out of milek ad bread it seconds, it was crazy. Since no one was at school I had the whole day to play and frolic in the snow, and i have to say-it was beautiful.

These are pictures of some outfits with my newest pieces(the blue skirt and plaid shirt) What i notice is when i go shopping, i try to look for interesting things, but also something i can actually wear in every day life. Anyway, one store that never fails me when it comes to creativity is Urban . I love there stuff because it is always so different and still wearable. However, the prices arn't always in my budget, so i get what i can. Anyway, both these things were on sale so i guess i hit the jackpot.
*sigh* i love urban outfitters :)
